On the whole the new online version of Quick Books is quite good but I do have a few issues with it.
The first one is that in the original set up of our company details I cannot get it to recognise our VAT No. and therefore it does not print on out on our invoices.
Secondly all of our customers do not have an email address so when I go to send statements out at the month end the accounts with an email address the statements go directly to them but for those without an email address I have to print all statements and then sort through to get the ones that have to go by post. Surely there should be a way just to print those only without an email address.
My third issue is with the handling of discount. On the old system this could be dealt with when entering the receipt but now I have to go in first and write off the amount to discount and then enter the receipt.
Also on the old system you could search for a customer by their address if you couldn't quite remember the name of the account but this is not possible on the online version that is now is use.
